Supported by a simple set, I tell the story of my unexpected transformation from good southern girl working in business to contemporary artist living in New England. The show is very funny and quite poignant, as life often is. If you'd like to preview the show, please go to the navigation bar and click on performance.

While it may be my story, many people claim it as their own, including a gallery owner from Cuba; a retired Episcopal bishop; college students; a Jewish woman from Long Island; a transgender woman from New York; conservative Christians; and a 70-year-old man who, with tears in his eyes, thanked me for telling my story. One audience member said, "You may think that story is all about you, but it's really all about me."

I am delighted to announce that on April 28-30, I am taking the show to NYC, where I will perform as a guest artist at the WOW Cafe Theater. This is a tremendous opportunity to generate exposure for the show among producers who can take it to the next level. I need your help in this effort.

To cover costs until the show becomes financially sustainable, I’ve formed I Will Be Good Productions, which is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions on behalf of I Will Be Good Productions are fully tax-deductible. I need your financial help in this early stage to successfully market the show, create merchandising, refine lighting and sound design, and to cover travel expenses. My goal is to raise at least $36,000 to help me prepare I Will be Good for New York and to tour nationwide. The show’s success in New York will have major and positive consequences for future dates and venues.

I am happy to announce a lead gift of $1,000 from Liz and Geoff Verney and I invite you to donate an amount that works for you. To give you an idea of how your donation will help, please consider the following. A week’s stay in New York to rehearse and perform costs approximately $2,200. Designing and executing a nine-month viral marketing program costs $4,850. Producing a professional quality DVD of show highlights costs $2,500.

There are two ways to donate:
1) Online, which is quickest and easiest. Go to: https://www.fracturedatlas.org/site/contribute/donate/2980
2) Or by check made payable to Fractured Atlas, with I Will Be Good Productions in the memo line. Please send contributions to Tricia Rose Burt, PO Box 214, Hancock, NH, 03449.

Donors of $100 or more will receive a stylish I Will Be Good t-shirt!

I Will Be Good Productions is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions on behalf of I Will Be Good Productions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Thanks so much for your generous support!
